Curriculum

Our school culture centres around CARE. We want our children to be Curious Active Reflective and Evolutionary knowing that they can make a difference.   This permeates through our curriculum.

The core subjects of Maths, English and Science follow schemes of work in line with the National Curriculum.

The foundation subjects follow the National Curriculum and have key points of learning identified for each unit. Where there is a purposeful link, our foundation subjects have a thread running through them. It is identified as being ‘a significant person,’ ‘a natural event/process’ and/or a ‘human impact.’ We learn how these things make a difference be it positive or negative to the world we now live in and consider how our actions can make a difference to our future.
